Deforestation is a main cause of concern for the whole living community. t is nothing but logging, burning and cutting of trees in forested area. Since it is irreversible, it has a disastrous impact. Deforestation is due to the industrialization, forest fire, increasing population, urban expansion, cultivation shift, commercial logging, dam,canal and road construction, mining etc. Deforestation is a serious threat to human kind since it will lead to an appreciable decrease in rainfall, increase in the rate of soil erosion and disturbance in hydrological cycle. It will also cause lowering down of water table, increase in climatic temperature, rise in carbon dioxide and rise in pollution. Deforestation also causes the loss of wildlife for wild animals and tribal life for tribal community. Deforestation also causes flood and land slides.
